Oh Hey There, Third Trimester

And yeah. Where have I even been? I hate not updating my blog, really I do! But I just don't have time. Even though I'm only working 4 hours a day, I still don't have time. Dixie's puppies keep me so busy during the day! I'm so sad today because one of the puppies will be leaving us to go to his new home. The other one we will have until Christmas Eve, and we will take him to Round Rock, to his new home. I'm so ready for our house to be normal again and not have to clean up puddles of puppy pee, but I'm still going to miss them a lot! Anyway, enough about them!

I am now 29 weeks and 2 days pregnant! Wow. We had the 3D pictures done yesterday and well, our baby did not want to cooperate. In every ultrasound picture we have had, her arm or hand has been in front of her mouth. The technician said she was probably sucking on her arm. She would NOT move her arm at all! I then felt guilty because I was afraid she was hungry and maybe I'm not eating enough. Brandon said that was probably not the case at all. I'm not sure what he meant by that. As we were watching her in 3D, she started frowning, just LIKE Brandon! We got a good picture of her doing that, but of course her arm is still in front of her face! We get to go back on January 7 to see if she will move her arm away from her mouth. She better or she will be grounded.

Her bedding has been ordered, so we are waiting on that to be delivered. I cannot wait until it gets here. I love, love, love it!

Here are some pictures from the last week or so!

Me at 28 weeks and 3 days before our Christmas party:

I also thought it would be fun to fill this survey out that I've been seeing on other moms-to-be blogs...

How Far Along? 29 weeks and 2 days

Total Weight Gain/Loss? I have lost .4 lbs. I have not gained anything. Please, no one shoot me.

Symptoms? Well, she is breech, so it's hard to walk, or stand, because she is using my bladder as a trampoline. I also run out of breath easily and find it very difficult to bend over.

Sleep? Horrible. I can't get comfortable!

Best Moment This Week? Getting to see her sweet face twice this week on ultrasounds!

Movement? I feel most of her movement really low due to her being breech and I occasionally get a punch in the gut from her.

Food Cravings? I just really like milk.

Belly Button In/Out? It's still in thank goodness.

What I Miss? Being able to bend over and walk normally.

What I am Looking Forward Too? Christmas next week and then my shower next month!!

26 Weeks

I was 26 weeks the day before Turkey Day. We went to my parents' house. I didn't eat near as much as I thought I would! I had a good time, and can't wait to go back for Christmas!!

25 Weeks

Today I hurt. I feel like someone is ripping my stomach apart. I guess that someone would be my precious little daughter. Thank you daughter. I love you too!

This week little Brayleigh is about 13 1/2 inches long and weighs about 1lb 1/2, according to babycenter.com. Of course she could be bigger/smaller, but I'm just going of
what it's telling me! At our next ultrasound we will find out how big she is!
Let's just take a look at week 25 on that same website, shall we?

"How my life is changing", reads the headline.

Babycenter: "Your baby's not the only one with more hair — your locks may look more full and lustrous than ever."

Briana: LIE
My hair is actually thinner and uglier than ever, so, moving right along.

Babycenter: "You may also notice that you can't move around as gracefully as before
."

Briana: True
Although, I have always been very clumsy, so this is half true/half lie.

I'm done reading. I will tell you how my life is really changing.

1)I can't eat more than 3 bites of food.
2)I can't sleep.
3)I worry constantly that something is wrong with her if I haven't felt her move in 5 minutes.
4)I feel like she is laying on my bladder, causing me to walk funny.
5)I realize that she is going to be here so soon, and I am so very excited, but so scared I'm going
to do something wrong.

I'm sure a lot of those things are normal for a first time Mom. I'm getting my massage tomorrow
so I'm hoping it helps me relax! My blood pressure has been better since I haven't been
working 8 hour days anymore. Hopefully it stays that way!

And now, for the weekly (at least I try to post weekly) picture!!

Brayleigh's New "Whip"

We made our first big purchase for the baby a few weeks ago! It was really exciting!
We got her a really cute stroller/car seat from Babies R Us, and I love it. I can't wait to put her in it. She's going to be so stylish!! Her Daddy also finished re-doing her floors, which you can see from the picture below.
(Mommy had to go BACK over the trim, for the second time, because Daddy got some stain on it)

That's okay though, he did such an awesome job, it looks really nice!
B.E. has been working so hard. He picked up a second job doing some side work for our boss, and it makes pretty good money but I feel so bad for him because he is lifting really heavy pieces of equipment. This is also all done on the weekends, so he has no time to rest. But, because he is such a fantastic husband, he hasn't complained. Instead, he brought me home a gift certificate yesterday for a 1 hour prenatal massage. He is so thoughtful. I am so glad I married such a wonderful, sweet man!
He's going to be a great father as well.

Last night I ordered Brayleigh's dresser for her room. My parents are so sweet and have offered to buy her crib!! Tomorrow I will order the glider and then after next weekend, we will order the changing table. In December, I will be ordering all of her bedding and curtains, and then all we need to complete her room is HER!! I will post pictures of each thing as we get them in her room. I can't wait to see it all together!!

OH! I can't forget to mention, Dixie got a new shirt!! She looked really embarrassed to be
wearing it, but oh well, she looked cute! Her puppies eyes are finally open and they are starting to walk a little bit. It is so cute watching them! They wrestle with each other now!!

6 Months

As I write this my feet are so swollen that I can't even feel my toes. Ugghhh!! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and he has restricted me to 4 hour working days because my blood pressure is still not doing so well. So from now until after Brayleigh is born, I will be working 8-12. I'm really looking forward to it! I can't believe I'm already 6 months pregnant. It really has gone by so fast. My Doctor also said that I probably would not go all the way until March 3. He said the only good thing about high blood pressure during pregnancy is that for whatever reason, it gets the baby ready quicker. I've also heard that girl's lungs develop faster than boys, so that's a plus!! Brandon FINALLY felt her kick last week! It was so exciting, and when I saw my stomach actually "jump", that is what finally made it feel real. I've been feeling her, I've seen ultrasound pictures of her, and I've heard her heartbeat, but that is what finally made it so real. I wanted to cry when I saw his hand jump from her kicks!!

Two weeks ago Dixie became a Mom to two cute little boys! They still don't have their little eyes open but I think that will happen soon! They are so sweet, and I think I have already found them homes. I am going to be so sad to separate them and take them from Dixie. They are always cuddled up next to each other and it's so sweet.

The other day I came home from work and found them like this:
Then as I was sitting here writing my blog, I looked over and saw this:

They are so cute, aren't they?!?

And finally, here I am at 6 months pregnant:
Brandon kept asking me if I was pushing my stomach out, and I kept telling him NO! I really am this big. Can't wait to see me in January, huh? Ahhh.

A New Mommy To TWO
